Teeth Whitening

There are two types of staining, extrinsic and intrinsic. Extrinsic staining is staining that occurs on the outer surface of the tooth due to every day use, such as drinking coffee, drinking red wine, and using tobacco products. These stains can be removed by brushing, flossing and regular dental checkups. Intrinsic staining however is staining that occurs on the inner surface of the tooth and can be caused by trauma, certain medications, and aging.

Our patients receive professional dental teeth whitening at no cost every fourth visit.

=

Our in office whitening system consists of placing protective gel on your gums, during three 15 minute sessions of high concentration peroxide which is activated by light in order to achieve optimal whitening results.

=

We also offer a take home option. This will not produce an immediate result that the in-office whitening has, it is still more effective than the over the counter alternative.

Restoring Chipped Teeth

=

Your dentist will first examine the chipped tooth, to determine the damage and best approach to treatment. Your dentist will then explain the best approach recommended to give you the best and most natural looking result

Veneers

=

Veneers are a porcelain shell that covers the front of your teeth, most often for cosmetic reasons.

=

Some indications for veneers are: worn enamel, spacing between teeth and uneven teeth.

Dental Crowns

=

Crowns are caps for an individual tooth, which are designed to protect the tooth from breaking.

=

There are lots of indications for a crown: Extensive decay, root canal treated tooth or fractured tooth.

=

There are different materials that the crown can be made out of, each having their own benefits. The most common types of material are gold, porcelain or metal.

Dentures

=

Dentures are false teeth that are designed to replace multiple missing teeth. There are partial dentures for those who have healthy teeth remaining, and complete dentures for those missing all of their teeth

=

Dentures are important because not only do they portray a nice healthy smile, they are crucial for eating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Dental Bonding

=

Dental bonding is appropriate for those who have chipped, misshapen, cracked or have spacing between their teeth

=

Dental filling material is used to change the way your tooth looks and regain confidence in your smile!
